AC/DC - Discografia

AC/DC es una banda de hard rock formada en Sídney (Australia) en 1973 por los hermanos escoceses Malcolm y Angus Young.
Angus y Malcolm Young, pensaron la idea del nombre para la banda, después de ver escrito "AC/DC", en la parte de abajo de la máquina de coser de su hermana, Margaret. AC/DC es la abreviación, en inglés, de "corriente alterna/corriente continua (alternating current/direct current).

Historia

Los hermanos Angus, Malcolm y George Young, nacidos en Glasgow, Escocia, se mudaron a Sídney, Australia a mediados de 1963, con la mayor parte de su familia y su mejor amigo en quien se basaron en la mayor parte de sus canciones. George fue el primero en aprender a tocar la guitarra. Comenzó en el grupo The Easybeats, exitosa banda australiana en la década de 1960. En 1969, se convirtieron en la primera banda de rock local en tener éxito internacional con la canción "Friday On My Mind". Malcolm entonces, decidió seguir los pasos de George, tocando en la banda galesa The Velvet Underground (no se debe confundir con la banda neoyorquina Velvet Underground)
